Bicycle hitch for a trailer, designed for a 12mm diameter rear wheel axle.
Two mounting plates are provided to prevent the attachment from rotating.
Either by attaching to a threaded point on the frame or dropout, or via a mounting plate that extends above the axle and includes an adjustment range.
Either using the mounting plate that extends to the left to reach the 'base' tube of the frame, where it is secured with a clamp (available in diameters of 12, 18, 24, 30, or 36 mm).
The axle can be supplied as an optional extra; we need to know the dimensions of the original wheel axle—such as its length, thread type, etc. This information is often marked on the axle itself.
The center of the rear wheel axle must be 35.5 cm (+/- 2 cm) from the ground when the bicycle is perfectly upright.
